Christmas Costume Party

I think it would be fun to have a Christmas Costume party! You could have your guests dress up like their favorite Christmas star (i.e. the Grinch, Charlie Brown, Christmas Vacation Cousin Eddie, etc.). You could decorate with movie/TV show themed decorations that you print out from your computer along with traditional Christmas decorations. You could have a contest for the best costume and the winner would get a gift card to a movie store like Best Buy or Blockbuster to get their own Christmas movie to keep. You could also have a different Christmas movie playing on all of your TV's in one central location like your living room with the sound muted just for atmosphere.

Your invites could be homemade and be a collage of different Christmas movie DVD cover pics and of course with red and green lettering.

You could also make it a potluck, so everyone has to bring their favorite "famous" Christmas food (i.e. the lime Jello with kitty food from Christmas vacation).

The music would need to be Christmas themed, and, if possible, soundtracks!

As for party favors, you could give them a print-out of the invite framed in a clip frame that you can get at Ikea for like $2.00 for a four pack.

This could be really fun and memorable!
