Looking for some recipes for Christmas parties that are awesome, easy, and delicious?
Here are some great cookie and Christmas dessert recipes shared by friends:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1 small container sour cream
sugar and cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, pudding, oil, eggs and sour cream. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar in the bottom of a greased bunt pan. Add cake mixture. Spring top with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
1 8 ounce can crescent rolls
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon milk
Unroll crescent dough into a rectangle. Place in a 9 x 13 x 2 baking pan (press dough so it comes up on the sides as well as covers the bottom). Bake at 375 for 5 minutes. Combine all other ingredients and then pour over crust. Bake until golden, about 15 - 20 minutes.
1 pound powdered sugar
1 seven ounce jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 fourteen ounce bag caramels
2 tablespoons of water
nuts
Knead together powdered sugar, marshmallow creme and vanilla. Make four rolls. Refrigerate 3 to 4 ours. Melt cramels with water in double boiler. Pour on cookie sheet and roll the 4 rolls of candy in it. Then roll in nuts.
1 seven ounce jar of marshmallow creme
3 Tablespoons water
1 Teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 to 1 cup nuts
Mix marshmallow creme, water and vanilla. Beat on mixer until stiff peaks form. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and nuts. Drop on buttered wax paper.
2 Tablespoons water
1 egg white
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 1/2 cups pecan halves
This is one of my favorite recipes for Christmas parties or for gift giving. If you know someone who likes nuts, they'll love this!
Whisk water with egg white. Add sugar, salt, cinnamon, ground cloves and allspice. Beat until foamy but not stiff. Add nuts and stir to coat evenly. Put on foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour or until glaze has dried at 250 degrees. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
